Can a 45-year-old man maintain a marriage and a videogame habit? Let's find out!

The Witcher is intriguing

I missed it until lately, somehow, but the PC game The Witcher is actually quite good; and it also is a good match to the capabilities of my PC. Developed in Poland using a BioWare engine, it’s a great single-player offline RPG that is becoming an increasingly rare beast these days.

Looking and running like a really decent-length Neverwinter Nights 2 module – the Witcher has over 100 hours of content – the game has plenty to do and explore, and plenty of depth to its storyline. Word is the game is coming later this year to PS3 and the 360, and playing it might be more effective for burning calories than weight loss supplements.

Good.
