Love the review I have been pushing OOTP to all my friends for years. The 1st Computer Baseball sim I ever played was Lance Hafner’s on the Com64. (I layed the strat-o-matic board game since I was a kid in the 70′s.
I own their Boxing title as well ( I am a boxing and Baseball sim nut) the only issue I have is no “real” discount other than pre-order.
They should have a record of the number of games you have purchased over the years and would be great to get a “frequent” buyer discount once in awhile.
As you said though Detail wise there has never been a game that equals it.

Seems like many xbox enthusiasts here, I am a fan too and love to play games… my girl says I play way too much, but man it’s so pleasant. I’ve been playing callofduty: mw2 and halo for months and can’t quit! What would you fellow gamers recommend? Anyways, seems like a good blog, is this wordpress? I’ve made a couple pages myself and it’s not easy. Thanks for taking time to writing this up.

Couldn’t agree more. I played the original PS1 GR for a long time before moving up to GR2001 for the PS2 – this is by far the game that I have logged the most hours on for any console ever. I bought GR2003 and GR2006 to support the franchise, but never got into them as much as the GR2001 game. I still intend to pick up a copy of GR2004 just to have one in the collection. I love these games and would love to see a new Gallop Racer, though i am not holding my breath.
